Spatz is an unusual looking little low-rider that found himself in a situation where he was taken into rescue. He definitely has some basset hound in him by the looks of his short legs, but don't know what else is in his DNA. We do know that he is the most adorable little guy around. He walks good on a leash and is crate-trained and housetrained.
Spatz gets along great with all his doggie siblings at his foster home and loves to run and play. He would make a great addition to any family and would love to meet all the others at the local dog park. We think he is around 18 months old and is the perfect size for a great couch buddy!! Go ahead and apply for this sweet boy!!

Spatz is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
