My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This petite 50-pound heartbreaker has spent over a year waiting for her forever family! She’s got the looks—part Dalmatian dazzle, part pittie charm—and the personality to match. Ruby is a world-class cuddler, a slipper rearranger (don’t worry, she’s not into shoes), and a master of quiet, polite companionship…unless she’s on critter patrol. Then she’s all business.

Sure, she’s in a foster home now, but Ruby’s not just looking for a place to crash—she’s looking for her person. Someone who will love her snuggles, appreciate her soft growls at suspicious squirrels, and maybe even let her dress up for “guard dog duty.”

Ruby’s dream? A home where she’s the one and only furry queen, with older kids (10+) to admire her and humans to adore her. Are you her happily ever after?

Want to meet Ruby? Email foster@spcacincinnati.org or text 513-687-7598 to set up a meet and greet. Don’t let her keep waiting!
