My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Somebunny Needs Oliver... Could It Be You?

This Easter season, sweet senior Oliver is hoping to find his forever nest. At 9 years and 2 months old, this affectionate, gentle soul has waited patiently since being rescued from PG last year. Heartbreakingly, the only serious inquiry we had for him came two months ago—on his birthday.

But we know Oliver’s perfect match is out there. Maybe you’ve been waiting for just the right cuddle buddy, and Oliver is here to say: I’m your guy.

Why You’ll Love Oliver

  • 60 lbs of pure love

  • Housetrained and calm on leash

  • Dog friendly (with proper intro)

  • Loves kids of all ages (yes, even toddlers)

  • The best go-to-work companion

  • Treat-motivated and knows basic commands

  • Calm in the car and cool with fireworks

  • Belly rub enthusiast and certified nap king

Oliver is low to medium energy, happy with a couple of walks a day and then ready to relax by your side. Thunderstorms make him nervous, but your comforting presence makes all the difference. He’s a lovebug who shows his affection with gentle kisses and a wagging tail.

He’s not the best match for homes with cats (he's a little too curious), but he is the perfect match for someone looking for loyalty, calm companionship, and unconditional love.

Let’s not let another holiday pass him by. Oliver’s still waiting for his somebunny to love him forever. Will you be the reason his tail wags this spring?

Interested in meeting Oliver? Reach out today—he’s ready to hop into your heart.

More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!
