Here's what the humans have to say about me:
** Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea **
Meet Sunny with a story of miracles👋 Sunny was found on a street in South Korea at one year old in 2018 and taken to a high-risk shelter, but she was already in serious condition presumably caused by a car accident. Her pelvis was fractured, and her right hind leg bone was broken into pieces. She was saved from euthanasia by the rescue team and hospitalized for months (Jun-Sep 2018) due to the surgery and recovery. Miraculously, she got good health back. That same year, Sunny found a forever home but sadly returned to the shelter FIVE years later as the family surrendered her. Despite all these setbacks, Sunny's sweet nature and zest for life still shine bright. She needs one true chance to find her real forever family that loves her unconditionally. Now, she has been living at her foster home with two other dogs for a year. Sunny is still eagerly waiting for her own home now!
• Personality: Sweet, Playful, Sociable
Sunny thrives on love and affection and gets along with all people and furry friends, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a lovely and affectionate fur buddy. She is such a cuddle bug! She likes snuggly cushions and blankets.
• Affinity with
- Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs regardless of the size
- Cats: Okay with street cats. She sometimes tries to chase them, but she stops when told.
- Adults/Kids: Good with all adults! / Okay with kids - not much interest in them. 💫She will be a perfect fit for most types of families!
• Housetrained: fully housebroken, okay with both pee pads, but she prefers outdoors.
• Walking Manners: very good
• Separation Anxiety: None
• Bathing/Brushing: very good
• Barks/Howls: she barks when excited or when she wants something.
• Car Rides: very good
• Appetite/Food Allergies: She is a foodie! / No allergies
• Shedding level (1~10): 5-6
• Health Issues: Due to the serious injuries that she got from an accident right before rescue, her pelvis is not perfectly placed (incomplete union of iliac) even after she had surgery immediately after being rescued. However, currently, she doesn’t show signs of pain or trouble when walking or running.
If you have an open heart and a loving home for Sunny, please don't hesitate to apply!
