Hi, I’m Pepper Pickle Bottoms!
I may start off a little cautious when I’m somewhere new, but once I feel safe, my silly, happy-go-lucky side shines through like sunshine after a storm. I’m full of personality and charm, with shorty legs, big ol’ ears, and a heart that’s even bigger. I love to explore the outdoors—especially when I get the chance to let loose with some low-rider zoomies on a long line. But don’t worry, I’ve got a chill side too. Give me a peanut butter Kong, a Benebone, and a cozy spot to relax, and I’m one content little pittie.
I’m crate trained (and actually kinda love it), and I know “place” and a few other basic commands. I’m great on structured pack walks and even trained in the fancy Figure-8 style. I can be a little reactive when I see dogs I don’t know on leash, but with a calm, confident human by my side, I settle down quickly and move right along. I’ve worked really hard on things like stranger danger and resource guarding—and let me tell you, I’ve made amazing progress.
I’ve spent time in a foster home and at TLP HQ, where I’ve become a total volunteer favorite. All I need now is a forever home with someone who sees me for the sweet, spunky little sidekick I am. If you’re calm, confident, and ready for a compact cutie with a giant personality, I just might be your girl.
Looking for love,
Pepper Pickle Bottoms
** Pepper Pickle Bottoms is part of our Foster-To-Adopt (FTA) program. FTA gives the opportunity to foster the dog, not as a legal owner yet, to see if the dog fits your home and lifestyle, and make sure it’s a good long-term match. TLP will continue to cover vet care, supplies, behavioral support and more!
