My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update: We are happy to report that Little Pup was adopted by a wonderful family. She will make her new home in Houston, Texas. We want to extend our thanks to the Texas Gulf Coast Vizsla Rescue for all their help in securing Little Pup a great home!

Little Pup was abandoned in a San Antonio park and met an "angel" whom she followed home. Obviously she knew a good person when she saw one. And it's a miracle that she did because this poor little girl was skin and bones. To make matters worse her skin was scaly and patchy so she looked a bit pathetic. Thankfully a veterinarian exam revealed that she was suffering from nothing serious, just a severe allergy. This has been successfully treated, she has also been spayed, and she is certainly one happy girl. Little Pup is approximately 8 months old, so she is still a puppy. Her disposition is sweet and she loves her other two doggy housemates. She gets along great with people of all ages, although she is a bit timid of strangers at first. But she warms up quickly! Little Pup is a Vizla mix with lovely patches of white. Because Little Pup is a high-energy pup, we do not recommend her for homes with children under the age of 8 years old. Also, it is Little Pup's wish to have another doggy housemate. One good thing, Little Pup has learned to mind her manners around the resident cat. Kudos to her foster family for that!
