Kenny is around 2 years old. He appears to be a pek/chih mix. He is a little fellow about 12 pounds at the most. He is THE ULTIMATE lap dog. He has very silky refined hair. He's a lover boy and loves to snuggle on the couch or on the bed with his person. He is great in a crate and he is house trained. He gets along great with other dogs and he likes cats. He is good in the car as well. Kenny needs a 2nd chance on life with a family who will love him forever.
Kenny came to our rescue by chance. He found us. No kidding he found us! My husband and I got stranded in PineRidge KY when our car broke down last Sat. We were coming back from transporting a rescue dog to his home in Lexington KY. Our car was shot on it's last lef, and we were in the middle of no where. I lie you not! Anyway, we ended up having to sell our car for scrap and hitching a ride to a near by motel. There was no way we would pay to have it repaired no could we have it towed 6 hrs one way to our home. While we were talking with the gentleman who bought our car a lady in a white mustang pulled in the parking lot. We watched as she shoved Kenny out of the car and drove off. None of us could believe what we just witnessed. The little fellow ran straight to the arms of my husband who scooped him up. Kenny went back to the motel with us. We were stuck there for almost 3 days. We could not find a one way car rental home. We could have taken the bus, but they would not have let us bring Kenny. No way no how would I have ever abandoned that little guy just to make it easier on us. If we would have had to walk home we would have as long as Kenny was with us. Finally we ended up getting a uhaul truck to get home. We had to hitch a ride to the truck rental place 30 miles away with 2 wonderful angels from a nearby Catholic Church. Thank you Sister Ann and Sister Amy for helping all 3 of us get home. Also thank you my dear Ada. You are priceless! I was so happy to get home with our new little friend.
Kenny's adoption fee is $250.00. Kenny has a cherry eye in both eyes. That will have to be surgically repaired. Kenny will go to his new home neutered, current on all shots, heartworm tested and on prevention.
