Mariposa suffers from a chronic upper-respiratory condition that causes her to often be sneezing and/or congested, especially when stressed. She takes inexpensive l-lysine supplements to help navigate this and it does not impact her quality of life. She currently lives with other cats without issue, however any cats who live with her should be kept up-to-date on FVRCP vaccines and Mariposa should be kept separate when her condition flares up. This condition is not contagious to dogs or humans.
