My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elsa and Aurora are an adorable, sweet, and relaxed bonded pair of sisters who have been waiting for their forever home since August 2023. That is 748 days in foster care.

These two easygoing girls love to groom each other, flop side by side, and stretch out for long, cozy naps. They are wonderfully low energy bunnies, perfect for a family that is looking for laid-back companions to share quiet time with. Both are very easy to pet and handle, though they prefer keeping all four paws on the ground. They use their litter box perfectly and do great free roaming as long as they have toys to keep them entertained.

Elsa and Aurora especially enjoy chewing on tunnels, cardboard scratchers, and wooden balls. And of course, they will never say no to a treat. Their favorites include carrots, bananas, Timothy hay sticks, and Oxbow Simple Rewards. Romaine lettuce is a daily staple too.

Ideal Home: A loving family who appreciates mellow bunnies and can provide them with enrichment, toys, and lots of treats. Most importantly, a home that will cherish their close bond and let them continue being the inseparable pair they are.

✨ Fun Facts:

They are happiest side by side, snuggling or grooming each other.

They make their foster smile every time they flop, a true sign of bunny contentment.

If they could talk, they would say: “Give us more treats!”

Elsa and Aurora are not the only ones still waiting. Their siblings Dora and Loopy are also looking for their own forever homes. Could you be the one to give them the happy ending they have been waiting so patiently for?

More about this rescue

SOS FL Animal Rescue is a non-profit rescue for rabbits and guinea pigs. We are animal lovers who are experienced rabbit and guinea pig owners. We both fostered small animals with other rescues for years before meeting each other and deciding to start our own rescue so that more rabbits and guinea pigs could be saved. We take in all rabbits and guinea pigs, including unwanted animals, seniors, and medical cases.
