My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Found together wearing matching harnesses, these girls are obvious pals. But Laverne (left) & Shirley can be adopted together or apart—they’re equally happy with another dog-friend as they are with each other!
“I know there’s no such thing as a perfect dog, but these two are as close as it gets!” says their foster dad. “They’re so sweet, gentle and perfectly behaved…not an ounce of trouble. They’ve even figured out a way to share my lap!”
That’s saying a lot, especially since they’re painfully skinny, covered with road dust, and showing the tell-tale signs of having recently had pups! And Miss Laverne’s crocked right front leg makes us think she’s had a run-in with a car! But these two angels aren’t thinking about the past. Instead, they snuggle with their foster dad, romp with their foster dog-siblings and dream of a home to call their own—forever!

Laverne: ~2-year-old pit-mix; 43 pounds (needs to gain); has shots; will be spayed
Has an old front leg injury but is no worse for the wear!
Shirley: ~ 3-year-old mini-lab-mix; 36 pounds (needs to gain); has shots; will be spayed
Both girls are 100% gentle, super-affectionate, great with kids and other dogs, and incredibly well-mannered—the perfect house dogs!
