If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I got her from the shelter. She was very shy and afraid of many things; little by little she has become more social.
Saffie understands with ease human routines, is house trained and does not dash through doors and doesn't go away even if the door is wide open.
Saffie is used to dogs and cats; I have not been lucky finding her a playmate; though we go for long walks 3 times a day, she'll be happier with the company of another dog.
~Ideal Home:
Family with a similar dog; a calm dog or one that is a bit shy like her. She will NOT do well with dogs that have dominant personality. She gets along with smaller dogs too.
- A house with a yard or a ranch with some land.
** Please do NOT adopt her if :
- You live in an apartment
- You plan to keep her caged in a kennel, bathroom or garage.
(my idea is that she will go to a place where she will be happier and freer). She has never been in a kennel in the past 6 years.
**She is afraid of kids.
