My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a horrible tale of abuse and neglect. Meet Dylan-Dally. Dylan is under 2 years old and has a story that I wish I didn't have to tell. We are not 100% sure of the exact circumstances, but this is how we understand it. He was locked up in a concession stand at the golf course in Forest Park - someone just closed up one day, left him there and never came back! When he was found by some other people last year, he was near death. They took him to the vet and got him meds and then were supposed to be feeding him and taking care of him till they found him a home (he was at this point still in the park with some sort of shelter). Well it turns out he was basically neglected and we were notified to come take a look. Needless to say we were horrified!!! This poor boy is very skinny and he has scabs all over his body. We do not know the "condition" that made his eyes raw and the vet is a little stumped as well right now. We have meds for him and he's taking them like a champ. Dylly is SWEET, SWEET, SWEET, very calm and a little shy (oh I wonder why...). He walks well on a leash and he liked the car a lot! He jumped right into one of the volunteer's van and made himself at home on their seat! He's good with new people and he knows "sit". This dog is breaking our hearts and we are trying to at least get him into a nice cozy foster home til he's all better. Please call Bobbi at 718-845-0779 or 917-213-9840 or email bobbicares2@aol.com if you are interested. Thank you so much.
