Shelly is a Border Collie/Pug Mix. She is Black and Brindle. Shelly is 2 Years Old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She weighs around 34 lbs.
Shelly is a gorgeous fun girl! She was turned into to a rural high kill pound by her owners who said they couldn't keep her in their "new household." We're not sure why they couldn't since Shelly is great with all other dogs, adults and adores children! On top of that Shelly came to us completely housetrained! Shelly has adjusted well to her foster home and has become fast friends with Evie another rescue dog. Shelly loves to play with Evie and the girls get along so well with each other. Shelly also loves to give kisses and play with all the children who like to visit her. Shelly already knows how to "Sit" and she listens very well whenever you tell her "Down." Shelly has a ball whenever she is outside playing with her friends, human and furry alike! When it's time to come in from playing with her foster family, she likes to go cuddle next to Evie on their dog bed and take a nap. The two of them do so well together she would love Evie to go to the same home as her but understands if they have to go to separate loving homes. Shelly is a funny, sweet girl who just has a ball living life. We know she will make someone a wonderful furry family member and she will make sure you always smile when she's around.
Shelly would do well in any household. She loves all adults, kids and other dogs she's met. Shelly came to us completely housetrained and is crate trained as well. Shelly walks very well on the leash and enjoys going to walks around town. If Shelly is outside with you playing and she hears someone approaching the yard she will use her big girl bark and let you know company is coming. Shelly also enjoys going for rides in the car, she likes to lounge in the back or stick her head out the window while the wind is in her face. We would love for Shelly to go to a home with a nice large yard and another dog to play with or a bunch of children she can run around with. Shelly has a very sweet, playful nature which makes her excellent in any type of family. She's the perfect size for any household and just adores being in a family and being loved. Shelly already was abandoned by her first family, now we're helping Shelly find a family who will love her forever.
Shelly is not aggressive with other dogs, she has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
There is a $100 Adoption Fee for all dogs. Which includes the Spay/Neuter, Parvo/Distemper Combo Shot, Rabies Shot, Worming, Heartworm Tested Negative if over 6 months and Flea/Tick Prevention.
