Life sure has been a ride for this stunning feline! Nelly has spent her entire life as a colony cat and we bet she has a good “tail” or two to tell! While this sweet little lady has enjoyed some great outdoor adventures, she is now ready to kick back (indoors!) and enjoy some well-deserved R&R.
ABOUT NELLY - In foster - Nelly is described by her foster mom as shy, sweet, and affectionate on her terms. - Nelly is a bit of an explorer, often checking things out and playing with toys she finds lying around. She is also an escape artist and seems to find ways to sneak out of her kitty quarters. - This furball has a built in food radar. If her foster mom even thinks about food, Nelly is right there, following her like a shadow and licking her lips ready for her next gourmet meal. - She will also put her paws on her foster’s legs to beg for treats! - Nelly likes to hide in her foster’s closet and help her pick out her outfits! - This gorgeous kitty likes to greet her foster mom with a side rub when she comes home from work. - Nelly has become quite affectionate and now enjoys full body pets from her foster mom. - Nelly is best buds with Shade and loves to cuddle with him. She also lives contentedly with another resident cat. - Nelly is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
NELLY’S IDEAL HOME - Nelly would do well as the only cat in the home, or in a home with an existing friendly feline. - She would appreciate a quiet home, with a patient human who is willing to make the effort to earn her trust gradually, and appreciate the small milestones on her ongoing socialization journey. - We are unsure if Nelly is good with dogs or young children. - Her forever family will need to feed Nelly a special gastric diet to prevent stomach upsets.
Nelly is eager to settle down and embrace the good life in a safe and caring fur-ever home. Are you ready to accompany gorgeous Nelly on her next adventure? If so, fill out an adoption application today!
