My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I had a family once. And I think they loved me too. But one day, they put me outside and they left me. And even though I cried for them and stayed close, they never came back for me. So I tried to make it on my own outside. I didn't do a very good job. I didn't know how too because I never had to before. I lost all my fur and I got skinnier and skinnier. And no one paid me any attention. I was too scared of them anyway.

But then one day, a miracle happened. Someone noticed me! And she found a whole rescue family to take me in. I had been so lost before but now I was safe and being fed and loved again! And very slowly I got all my fur back and my wounds healed and now I look like a brand new cat!

But I don't ever want to go through that again. I want a family that loves and cherishes me for the rest of my golden years. I am an extremely sweet boy and a very gently boy at that. I truly just want a kind patient family that will let me be the quiet gentle old man that I am. I do have arthritis in my back legs but take daily dasaquin in my food. I don't even make a fuss about it! Other than that, I'm in great shape and just need a family to take a chance on me!

Additional adoption info

All other cats in the home need to be spayed/neutered and preferably have an up-to-date FIV/FELV test. We do not adopt cats out to strictly outdoor homes UNLESS it is a special case and has been agreed upon beforehand with the adopter. ALL animals, regardless of time with an adoptive family, MUST be returned to the rescue in the event he/she needs to be rehomed.
