Whether it's running, jumping, or playing tug, her absolute favorite game, Venus is always ready for action! She thrives on physical activity and would do best in a home with a secure yard where she can stretch her legs and burn off energy.
If you have a friendly dog who enjoys a rousing play session, Venus could be a good companion for your pup. We would do a meet and greet to check for compatibility.
Venus is not only playful but also incredibly smart. She’s both toy- and treat-motivated, making her an excellent candidate for training. A harness is recommended for walks, as she’s still learning that strolls aren’t races!
Venus’s adoption fee of $250 covers essential services such as spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.

If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.
We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip. Additionally we have a low cost dental clinic each Wednesday. Check our website for more details.
