Matilda is a small cat and retains her playful kitten energy; she is first and foremost incredibly curious and will explore any new sights, sounds, and smells. Afterwards, her curiosity will get her quickly running back to the things she was initially interested in. She also has an adorable dry squeak that means "mealtime!" She loves hanging around people and is fascinated by screens, but when she gets too playful, it's easy to pick her up and put her somewhere else. She falls asleep by adorably blinking her eyes slower and slower, and she will sometimes wake up briefly to adjust to her favourite sleeping position: leaning off a ledge and hanging her arms straight out!
Matilda is bonded to her momma, Miss Honey. Matilda adores Honey, and if they are in different rooms, Matilda will quickly go off to find her again. Sometimes Matilda gets a bit too high-energy for Miss Honey and they can play-fight, but they will always end up grooming each other and end every day curled up together. Miss Honey will also help out with any food that Matilda doesn't finish herself. Both of them love string toys, but Matilda particularly loves spring toys, and she can spend hours bouncing them down a hallway!
