My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful Black Midnight is 7 yrs old. She was a puppy mill dog. She had so many puppies that her uterus was adhered to her stomach wall. She is also high Heart Worm positive. She has had her first 2 shots of immidacide to kill the heart worms. She will need one more in about 20 more days then she will be tested again in 30 more days to make sure she is fully cured. She is sweet and loving now. When we got her she had only lived in a small cage. She was afraid of her own shadow. She has come out of her shell and is very loving now. She wants to be held and loved. She is leash, crate and house trained. She goes to the door when she wants to go outside. She needs a home where someone is there with her most of the time. She would do well with kids over the age of 10 but not little ones as their noises and activity would scare her. She gets along well with other dogs. She will make a wonderful companion for the right home. If you cannot adopt, we would welcome your donations. Our mailing address is Schnauzer Savers Rescue of W. TN, P. O. Box 202, Bethel Springs, TN 38315. Her vet bills are more than $800 with her spaying, shots, and heart worm treatment. Her adoption fee will only be $200.
