My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


DOB: 6/01



Nicole is a young, campus cat from the west side of the Iowa River. Her extended family has grown up outside near the UI College of Nursing. She was lucky enough to have interacted with the colony’s caregiver for some time before she was captured in a humane trap.



Nicole’s education about trusting humans will still take awhile, but she is making good progress. This is a cat who would make a good companion for another feline.



Check out her son, Lynx, nephews, Aidan and Niall, her sister, Sadie, and her mom, Baby on our website.



Nicole likes: interacting with other cats; hanging out with her sister, Sadie; the occasional pat on the head (on her terms); mealtime.



She dislikes: quick hand movements; loud voices.



Nicole is not very confident, but she has good feline social skills. She is still very shy and watchful.
