Meet Smokey the Cat!
Smokey is a handsome gray gentleman with a quiet, sensitive soul. He can be a little shy at first and may need some time to feel safe in a new environment, but once he does, his sweet and affectionate nature shines through. Smokey enjoys calm spaces, soft voices, and cozy hiding spots, and he loves gentle pets from people he trusts. He’s looking for a patient, loving home where he can blossom at his own pace.

SOCKS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the felines with whom we all share our lives. We value treating them compassionately, with dignity, respect, and understanding. We care about their quality of life and strive to treat our feline guests as we would our own pets.
SOCKS provides a caring, home-like environment, free of cages, for over 100 cats and kittens daily in our shelter and in foster care. Cats with special requirements are cared for in an environment best suited for their needs.
