After the trial period Doggedly will still be available and actively involved in the dog's life, if at any time you need assistance or to return them we will be there!
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Please be as thorough as possible. Our goal is to pair you up with the perfect dog for your lifestyle
- Interview
- Within 10-21 business days we will contact you via email if we have additional questions or to schedule a phone or Zoom interview
- Home Check
- A member of the Doggedly team with visit you in your home (or virtually) to ensure it is the best fit for the dog
- Meet the Pet
- A member of the Doggedly team will meet your family and your prospective pup either in a neutral area, the foster home, or your home
- Sign Adoption Contract
- If you and the Doggedly team feel this is a great fit, you will sign the adoption contract to finalize and initiate the trial period
- Pay Fee
- When you sign the contract you will also pay the adoption fee - which is refundable during the trial period minus any transport fees
- Take the Pet Home
- Trial period begins - we require that you keep in close contact with your coordinator and follow the decompression/integration protocol
