DOG'S DESCRIPTION:   Meet Trevor – Your New Southern Gentleman! Well, howdy y’all! Trevor is a true Southern gentleman, bringing his sweet charm and impeccable manners straight from Alabama. This handsome pup is as gentle as a summer breeze and gets along great with other dogs. Trevor is on the hunt for his dream home—somewhere peaceful where he can relax and enjoy the simple life. The hustle and bustle of city living just isn’t his style, so he’s hoping for a quiet neighborhood where he can truly shine. Trevor must have a back yard and another dog in the home. He’s a bit on the shy side, but give him a cozy couch, a Netflix binge, and some snacks, and he’ll be your best cuddle buddy in no time! While he adores his fellow four-legged friends, a home without small children would be best for him. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s always down for a snuggle session, Trevor is your guy! Ready to meet this sweet Southern soul? He’s waiting for you!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
