Chuck: Left Behind and Forgotten

Someone took the time to house-train him, and to teach him to sit and give his paw. That’s why it’s so hard to understand why nobody took the time to look for Chuck when he was lost. He sat quietly in his cage at the police station, watching as others came to claim their lost dogs. But nobody came for Chuck.
Dogs like Chuck must wonder if they’ve done something wrong. Even now, in his foster home at DogTopia Daycare for Dogs (Cleveland Hts), he tries so hard to be good, no doubt worried that he’ll be left behind yet again. But this gentle, playful boy did nothing wrong. Instead, he was betrayed by the family he loves, and left behind to fend for himself.
About our Sweet, Playful Guy
• 1-2 year old dobi-mix (our best guess!); 47 pounds; has shots; neutered
• Sweet, affectionate and playful. Chuck loves to snuggle with his human friends and loves to play with other dogs (no cats, please).
• Chuck has been a gentleman from the very beginning. He walks well on a leash, rides beautifully in the car, and is especially sweet and loving. Chuck needs a home where he’ll be given lots of snuggle time, and also lots of play time. He’d be a great dog for children. A dog sibling would be a bonus.
