Their adoption process
All adopters must first submit an adoption application prior to being considered for adopting one of our pets at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org. Further details of each pet can also be found at our site www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org. Adopters must agree and sign adoption contract prior to release. Home visits are required prior to final approval of adoption. We do have restrictions which are explained in our website and adoption application. DPR was established in 2004 as a 501(c) non profit organize and an all volunteer rescue organization. We are not a shelter. We rescue both cats and dogs. We care for these pets in our foster homes until proper and stable homes are found through a multi-step adoption process. Our ultimate goal is to match families with our pets so that they live out their lives in loving, educated, safe homes for the remainder of their lives. Our additional goals in rescue are to educate the public in the importance of spaying/neutering and exposing the truth behind pet store puppys and the horrors of puppy mills.
