FOSTER OR ADOPT: Meet Caspian, a very sweet stray kitty who has been living outside an apartment complex, being fed and cared for by a kind neighbor. We’re looking for a foster or adopter who can help us get Caspian safely indoors.
Caspian is friendly and talkative, and he knows his name -- he responds to “Caspi!" He clearly was someone’s pet in the past as he loves human attention. He does great with dogs (he follows the neighbor around when she walks her dogs); we don’t know if he has been around children. He may be a bit skittish at first and will need time to adjust to a new home. He's very sweet and loving once he gets to know you.
Caspian's guardian shares, "He is one of the sweetest kitties I’ve ever met! He is shy at first but when he opens up he shows how much he loves affection. He runs to greet you and loves to rub on your legs and follow you around. Caspian purrs when he eats and “kneads” his paws on the ground with happiness when you talk to him. He is very playful and loves toys!"
Caspian is FIV positive, but FIV+ cats can live just as long and happy, healthy a life as kitties who are not diagnosed positive. FIV+ kitties can live together with cats who are FIV negative so long as they are introduced properly, get along, and do not fight, as the virus is transmitted by deep bite wounds.
Caspian was born in approximately March 2023. All Angus & Friends cats are healthy, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption.
For more information about fostering or adopting Caspian, please text Deborah at 510-909-4961 (or leave a message) or email her at angusnfriends@outlook.com.
