My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you hungry for friendship? Have a Brownie!

Brownie is an outgoing senior boy who will greet anyone he meets with nuzzles and head bumps. His presence is as comforting as a warm dessert, and his fur is as lustrous as chocolate. Foodies can debate whether fudgy or cakey texture is superior, or whether center or edge pieces are more desirable, but everyone who meets him agrees that this Brownie is as sweet as can be.

Somewhat ironically, this sweet treat has diabetes. Brownie`s condition is well controlled with insulin, and he`s a perfect gentleman for his daily injections. Brownie has settled in very well to our Community Room, but he`d appreciate spending his golden years in a cozy home, either as a solo cat or with laid-back friends.

Additional adoption info

For an adoption fee of $150, you will take home a cat that has received the very best medical care and evaluation. Every cat that leaves Tabby’s Place has been thoroughly examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, and treated for parasites.

We are currently offering two methods of adoption meetings:
1. Adopters can meet cats in person between 2-5PM daily. Appointments are strongly recommended, but we will make every effort to accommodate walk-ins where possible. Most cats and some select kittens are available for in-person meetings.

2. Adopters can meet cats and kittens via video meeting between 10:00AM-5:00PM daily by appointment only and subject to availability. Kittens in foster homes are only available for video adoption meetings.

Get started now by completing our online application. One or our adoption counselors will then contact you within 48 hours.

For questions about adoption, please contact our adoption staff at: adoptions@tabbysplace.org.
