Lilly is a 10-month-old, 7-lb chihuahua mix with a big personality packed into a tiny body. She’s spunky, energetic, and full of affection, always eager to join in on whatever’s going on. She thrives in a home with other playful pups — being part of a pack really brings out her happiest, most confident self.

She’s also full of opinions, and if she has something to say, she’ll make sure you know it in her own funny little way. Lilly is house-trained, crate-trained, and settling into routines nicely. She’s a lively, social, personality-filled pup who brings a lot of joy and attitude in the best possible way.

Fill out our adoption application at heartsandbonesrescue.org and our adoption team will be in touch about next steps within a few days.

Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

We are a foster-only rescue and do not have a physical location. Please email us at adopt@heartsandbonesrescue.org to arrange a private meeting with our dogs or visit us at an adoption event. We host events every weekend at various locations around NYC.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
