This shy little girl is Lulu. She came to us because her owners lived in a rental home that did not allow pets. After trying to keep her hidden they found it just more than they could take on. So, she came to us. Sweet and scared.
She is a mini black and tan smooth coat who needs to gain a little weight. Born 10/05 she is still just a pup.
Lulu has been poorly socialized and we are working on bringing out her friendly nature every day. She is a sweet little girl that would just love to curl up in someones lap and sleep the day away. She is a little playful, but not demanding or high energy.
Lulu is house and crate trained, ok on leash. Fully vaccinated and will be spayed before placement. She is good with kids, good with other dogs, but would be best in a single pet home. She does not seem to like cats and will bark at any that she sees.
Lulu was raised the first 9 months of her life with a small child, a 2 year old little girl. However we have found that she HATES young boys. She has not tried to hurt our son, but she quite obviously did not like him as soon as she met him. In a loving home with a pet savvy little boy, I'm sure she could come to love him just as much as the rest of the family...she just needs a little time to know she can trust them.

It is extremely important to us that all dogs placed through our organization have the best possible home. While they are only with us for a short time, we strive to make each and everyone feel as if they our the most loved and wanted companion animals.
