My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Alina!
This sweet Terrier mix has energy to spare and love to give! At just 43 lbs, she’s the perfect size for adventure — whether that’s a hike, a jog, or a long game of fetch. ??
Alina is super friendly and can’t resist leaning in for pets. She’d thrive in an active home with older kids or teens and a family ready to guide her with training and plenty of playtime.
Ready to meet your new workout buddy and best friend? ??
?? All of our dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm/Chagas-negative, and on Simparica Trio when adopted.
??? Visit us: Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday?? Time: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.??? Email: BAHShelter@yahoo.com for more info!

More about this shelter

The Bulverde Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1983 by Dolores Caldwell, BAHS is a no-kill shelter caring for up to 400 dogs and cats annually. The shelter resides on 3.25 acres of park-like land and houses indoor/outdoor kennels, a cattery, nursery/medical recovery building, agility fields, and fenced-in play yards.

BAHS is powered by volunteers and overseen by a Board of Directors. Our volunteers ensure the dogs and cats get plenty of exercise, playtime, and unlimited cuddles, love, and affection.
