Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Winston is a super sweet boy who came to us from a local shelter after his mama was adopted out. He is very shy at first and will need a patient adopter who will give him the time to become comfortable in his new home. He is extremely talkative and has the cutest little voice and doesn't meow. He has such a big personality and is so funny to watch! He absolutely LOVES other cats, especially adults and will affectionately rub all over them! Having another social kitty friend in the home is essential! If you don't have another cat, he can be adopted with one of his foster siblings....Casper would be a great companion! Winston absolutely loves interactive toys like laser beams, battery operated mice, etc. He also like interactive treat toys.
Winston does allow petting, but on his terms. He prefers you pet him when one of his kitty friends is with him. Or, he "calls" you to the door (I keep the door cracked open for him to interact through) so he can rub on your hand when you put it through to him. As he gets comfortable, it is possible he will become even more affectionate, but right now this is his level of comfort with his foster.
Because of being shy, Winston would prefer a quieter home without young kids. He has been exposed to a large, cat-friendly dog through the door, but has not directly interacted with her. He may do well with a friendly, cat-savvy dog who won't chase him and will let him rub on him! :)
Winston is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and FIV/FeLV negative. He is currently fostered in Warren and is available for adoption or foster-to-adopt.
