MEET FRANK!!!
FRANK is a chihuahua mix, OR some odd throw back to a wire coated chihuahua ! he shows no other cross breed except his wiry thin type coat. - Frank is about 2 ish, TINY, about 5 lbs if that , he is smaller than all my cats, and looks like a baby next to my 9 lb papillon.
FRANK is PERSONALITY PLUS!! not NIPPY AT ALL.
VERY friendly and VERY affectionate.
He loves to play with his squeaky toys, and he loves other dogs, and stays FAR away from cats.
He is a snuggle bug, and will snuggle right up with you in bed - or on the sofa watching TV, he CRAVES human attention & contact. We think he probably did NOT get much of this when he was young.
He loves to learn, and can be taught tricks easily. He walks fine on leash, and is NOT a nervous , shaking type of dog. He is very proud, and attentive. We are teaching him "come" as apparently he is scared to"come" - this usually means when he was TOLD to come, he was HIT when he did come.
We are working on that now.- BUT he is a jolly lil chap, and a perfect dog for retirees, and a family that likes to give dogs a LOT of love and affection.
WE WILL NOT PLACE FRANK with any families with SMALL children, or WILD, UNRULY children, as he is PETITE, and could easily be HURT by a child that does NOT know how to respect small animals.
NO children under 8 - and we will still check the degree of responsibility of any family's with children under 15. Toy dog experience is a plus, as this dog could easily be stepped on and hurt badly.
We want FRANK to have a loving SAFE home.
* we were told FRANK MAY be somewhat of an escape artist, but SO FAR i have seen no signs of this.- he may have just been neglected , so he chose to run away a lot. he has NOT once tried to leave the boundary's of my yard . he likes to explore , but always races back to see if I am still sitting there.

ADOPTION FEE: $225.00 with approved application & care contract.
FRANK is UTD on shots & wormings , HW NEG, neutered, and microchipped.
FENCED YARD NOT MANDATORY depending on the right conditions. as FRANK will probably be a perfect condo or apartment dog. FRANK loves other dogs, so if you have another dog that will NOT HURT HIM, we would love to hear from you.
If you are retired, and have a LOT of time to devote to Frank- we would LOVE to hear from you!!
