Here's what the humans have to say about me:
With her big, soft, hopeful eyes and gentle demeanor, Libby is sure to steal your heart the moment you meet her. This sweet, joyful girl has come a long way—from struggling to find enough food to nurse her four pups, to now seeking love and affection from every kind soul she meets.
Libby weighs just under 40 lbs and is happily reclaiming her figure now that her mom duties are done. She's affectionate, responsive, and especially loves attention from people of all ages.
She gets along well with other dogs but would prefer a cat-free home. While she’s still learning to trust leashes and tethers, Libby is making great progress walking on a loose leash and is now asking to be included in and enjoying daily walks.
She likes being in the house and close to people. She knows how to use a doggie door and has had no "potty accidents" in her foster home.
What she needs most is a patient, loving home where she can continue to fulfill her potential. With a little time, love, and understanding while Libby learns new rules in her new life, she will make her your “fur-ever” companion.
Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/
When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
You could be a life saver!
