My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pending adoption as of 12-15-10; NOT available. Original bio: Wellington is a 3 year old Yorkshire Terrier male who weighs 4 lbs. Welly is absolutely adorable & good about everything. This tiny boy is true to his Yorkie heritage - he's sweet, loving/affectionate, good-natured, great with other dogs, & devoted to his humans. He is 100% potty trained & goes outside. We rescued Welly from a local shelter. He'd been hit by a car & taken to a vet by the good person who saw it happen. He has a microchip so they were able to contact his owner. Unfortunately, the owner wouldn't cooperate with the vet & never came to get Welly. They had no choice but to take him to the shelter & shelter staff contacted us about him. Amazingly, he had only minor injuries & no broken bones. He's had all the vet care he needed & he's healed beautifully. Wellington is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, & just had a dental by our vet. He would do best in an all adult home & a home with only small animals. This darling lad will make his new family very happy. If you can provide Welly with the kind of home he needs, please email us for an application.
