My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🖤 Meet Karma & Coven – Two Sisters, One Heart 🖤

Double the love, double the purrs, double the magic — that’s what you get with Karma and Coven. These two beautiful black cats are a bonded pair who share everything: toys, naps, secret meows, and most importantly, each other’s hearts. They’ve grown up side by side, and their connection is undeniable — where one goes, the other is never far behind.

Karma is the slightly more outgoing of the two, always ready to greet you with a curious look and a soft purr. She loves gentle pets, cozy blankets, and sitting nearby while you relax. Coven, her equally lovely sister, has a sweet, soulful presence and adores quiet companionship once she feels comfortable. Together, they balance each other perfectly — playful but calm, affectionate but never demanding, curious yet content to simply be near you.

These girls are young, smart, and full of love to give. They enjoy chasing feather toys, lounging in sunbeams, and curling up together for long afternoon naps. Their shiny black coats and bright eyes make them truly stunning, and their gentle personalities make them even more special.

Karma and Coven have shared every step of their journey together, and now they’re searching for a forever home where they can stay side by side. They’ll fill your life with laughter, comfort, and the quiet joy that comes from being loved by not one, but two wonderful feline friends.

If you believe in the magic of friendship and the beauty of black cats, Karma and Coven are waiting to make your home complete. 🖤

More about this shelter

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home. We value every animal equally and consider all to be priceless
