Would you guess this sweet, playful, belly rub QUEEN 👸 came to us borderline feral? 💛 Amber has come such a long way and is ready to find her forever family! It still takes her a minute or two to warm up to new people, but trust us—those extra moments are so worth it when she finally flops onto her back with that adorable underbite on full display.
Amber is super dog-social and loves having canine friends to play with. She’s even good with cats (though the hissy ones do make her a little unsure at first 🐾). When she’s not playing with toys or chasing grasshoppers, she’s happiest just hanging out with you.

Partners for Pets is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Since our opening in 2003, Partners for Pets has rescued and re-homed over 21,000 cats and dogs, who would have otherwise been euthanized in local area animal control facilities. Partners for Pets works diligently to help local area animal control facilities reach no-kill status by opening our doors to the neglected, sick, weak, and injured. No matter their chances of survival, we do everything in our power to give these animals a second chance at life-a life that is full of the love, care, and compassion that they were lacking before.
