Bettina was found stray with her sister, Mika (also available for adoption) and another puppy, Sid (also available for adoption). Bettina is quite shy and afraid as she adjusts to her new environment. She enjoys affection and likes being in a lap, and she warms up with a lot of patience. Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
