When Van first arrived at the shelter, he pressed himself into corners, too scared to lift his head, too unsure to hope.

For two long months, he watched quietly as kind voices and gentle hands showed him what safety feels like. Slowly, heartbreakingly, he started to believe it. And now — for the first time — Van is learning to trust.

$180 for dogs, $100 for cats. All animals must be fixed at the time of adoption, or the owner is required to sign a contract stating they will have their animal fixed within 60 days of adoption. Once fixed, the owner will receive a refund of $100 for dogs, and $75 for cats. All animals are microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed, and held for a minimum of 14 days after arriving at the shelter to rule out any diseases. They are also flea, earmite and fecal checked by our Veterinary Technicians. Adopters must fill out an application, which is reviewed by two senior staff for approval.
