In foster we've learned Potro does well with female dogs and very confident kitties. He currently lives with 3 kitties and another dog. He is doing well at the dog park, plus he loves all people. He can show some reactivity to other dogs when being walked but will easily follow foster when turned away.
Potro is very strong but has been worked on the leash and is doing well. An adopter might consider using a harness and even some sessions with our behaviorist in the beginning.
Potro's a great boy and is just waiting for someone to see that and give him a chance to be part of their family, forever! He is contained by a 4' fence and doesn't challenge it - but if there is a gap in it he will take advantage of it and take himself for walkabout!
Potro shadows foster mom, likes to be with her and cuddle. He is left alone while foster goes to work but hangs around with her parents for several hours. Although he has a crate he isn't in it that often any more, but having one available would be a good idea for an adopter until he is familiar with everything in a new home.
