My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

For weeks this handsome guy sat at the shelter. We shared but no one wanted to take him home. When we say fostering saves lives we really mean it. Potro was getting so close to never leaving the shelter. Kennel stressed and shutting down...and then his hero came!

In foster we've learned Potro does well with female dogs and very confident kitties. He also loves all people.

Potro is very strong and needs a bit of work with the leash, he pulls. A harness and some sessions with our behaviorist can fix that!

Potro was just neutered and that could easily help with how he feels about other males, time will tell!

He's a great boy and is just waiting for someone to see that and give him a chance to be part of their family, forever!

More about this rescue

Our mission is to help the innocent sweet pups that don't have a voice. Many of the dogs come in sick, emaciated and covered in matts, we are here to provide funding for the vet bills and grooming. We also fund the feeding of the pups while they are in foster care and boarding. Educating the public on the treatment of the livestock guardian dogs is something we take very seriously. We are here to fight for their rights and do everything we can to get them covered under animal cruelty laws. They don't have a voice so you will never stop hearing ours!
