Calling all Hound lovers! Pudge is a 8-9 month old mixed breed dog who is goofy, lovable, and full of playful puppy energy! Pudge loves all the toys, fetch, and attention he can get. He is eager to please but can be a little picky about what food he likes, so make sure you have some "stinky" treats on hand. He is friendly and outgoing with everyone he meets, but given his jumpy, mouthy play style, he'd do best in a home without small children. When it comes to cats, Pudge is rather scared and unsure so he would prefer a home without them. He does however enjoy the company and playtime with other dog friends. Pudge is still learning his manners, but walks well on a leash, and is ready to bring his fun-loving energy to an active family who can guide him through puppyhood and enjoy his big personality.
Pudge's adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventives, plus a free basic training course at Cedar Run #2 in Hiawatha. Pudge is seeking a home as an indoor only pet. Last Hope requires that all adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered, kept current on vaccines and preventatives, and as indoor pets only.
