Meet Calla
This little superstar is ready to strut her way into your heart!

Calla is a bundle of love and energy - always ready for cuddles, attention, and a good play session. She’s crate and leash trained, knows her basic commands like sit and come (and sometimes surprises you with down and leave it), and she will absolutely do anything for a treat. No puzzle toy stands a chance - she’s a master at finding every hidden snack!

She loves playing fetch… but don’t expect her to give the toy back easily - that’s part of her fun-loving charm. When she’s not playing, she’ll happily entertain herself with her toys for hours. She’s also got a hilarious quirk: she’ll move shoes, cushions, or just about anything she can find all over the house—but she never destroys them.

Calla is dog-friendly, adores everyone she meets, and is not a barker. With her model-like trot, regal crossed-paw sit, and endlessly sweet personality, she’s the total package. She has high energy, so she’d love an active family who can keep up with her zest for life.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
