If you are looking for a great family companion that is already completely home acclimated, has excellent house manners, rides well in a car, walks nicely on a leash, and is loving and friendly, Max may be the perfect choice for you. He has a wonderful, gentle temperment, is smart, affectionate, and wants to please you. Max was born in August of 2002, and raced before he found a pet home 4 years ago. His adoptive family recently had a baby that is now beginning to walk and keeps falling on Max while he is lying down. As you can imagine, this is a frightening thing for a dog, and the baby is not old enough to understand. His family reluctently returned Max to us so we can find a new home for him. Max is quiet and gentle, comes when he is called, and very people-oriented. He likes to be near you and will follow you around the house. He gets along well with other dogs and cats and will do find with well-mannered children. Max has a special $150 adoption fee this month, which includes his neuter, teeth cleaning, all vaccines, microchip, leash and collar, Bordetella (to protect against kennel cough), adoption guide, grooming mit, and stuffie toy.
