Meet Babbs

Babbs is an adorable grey tabby with a sweet, social personality. She is very friendly and absolutely loves to cuddle—your lap quickly becomes her favorite place to be! Babbs has no concept of personal space and wouldn’t want it any other way. She’s happiest snuggled up close, soaking in all the love and attention.

Babbs also enjoys playtime and has a fun, playful side that makes her a joy to be around. She does great with kids and would be a wonderful addition to a family looking for an affectionate, interactive companion.

Their adoption process

1.
Meet the Pet

Once the potential adopter has found a pet they are interested in, they can visit the rescue in person and meet the cat or dog.

2.
Submit Application

Please note: Applicants should be age 21 or older. Fill out adoption application and submit for consideration.

3.
Approve Application

The application is then approved or rejected by the administration of our rescue.

4.
Pay Fee

At this point, the adopter pays the adoption fee for the cat or dog.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We approve or deny adoptions based on various factors, such as a fenced yard for dogs, how many other pets a protentional adopter may have.

Each animal is different; our goal is to place the dog or cat with the most suitable home for their needs and safety.

We also prefer adopting to applicants aged 21 or older.

We are located in Lakeland, Florida. Our animals are available to be viewed online on our Facebook page, on websites such as, Adoptapet.com, Petfinder.com and Rescueme.org, or in person by appointment. We also do various adoption events at the Lakeland PetSmart, as well as other events around Polk County and surrounding areas.

If you need to contact us, preferred method is text at 863-258-8512 or instant message via our Facebook page. if you do call and we don't answer, please text or leave a voice mail. We may be busy with another adopter or taking care of the shelter animals.
