Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    Adoption committee contacts potential adopter.
    and further evaluates interest form.
  2. Meet the Pet
    If determined to be a potential fit for the family and for the dog, introductions are scheduled.
  3. Approve Application
  4. Home Check
    ABRT representative performs home and property check.
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
    and attend our one hour pre-adoption training class to ensure adopters are set up for success
  6. Pay Fee
    $300 adoption fee
  7. Take the Pet Home
    and schedule their required training course

Our Mission: To rescue, foster and place adoptable homeless dogs that are about to be euthanized; educate the community regarding responsible dog ownership including spay/neuter of companion animals. To assist in increasing the adoptions of local shelter dogs by promoting awareness and referring to area shelters and rescue groups.
