My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Rowan and I am a mini pincher weighing in at 12 pounds. I have a big personality though, filled with fun, love, curiosity and loyalty. And, boy can I jump! I am super friendly and trusting toward people after a minute of sniffing them out and feeling their vibe. I will cuddle up to even the most standoffish people and I will melt their heart. When it comes to other dogs, I love them so much. I especially love my two resident foster siblings. I have a strong bond with them and enjoy cuddling up and playing with them. We are all really good at zooming around the yard together. I am very fast and they can't catch me. Going for walks in my neighborhood is such a blast, I love to see the cars, buses and people go by. Of course, I am so beautiful that people stop to admire me and chat. My appetite is great and I love to chomp down my meals faster then the other doggies. Yummy to the tummy. Don't even get me started on how much I love treats! The outdoors is made for pooping and peeing, so of course that is where I go. I am totally house trained. Oh, and by the way, I sleep through the night and would not even think of waking up my foster parents. I do have a crate and will sleep there, but I am so well behaved that my parents don't bother with it. When indoors I like to burrow under my blankie and take a snooze or chomp on my lambie at length. I also have other toys and bones to play with. I sound pretty perfect, huh? Well, I am not! Our volunteers screen all of our adoption applicants thoroughly, and we have a very thorough application. We include vet check and reference checks.

We follow up with our adopters 14 days, 45 days and a every year after an adoption is complete.
