This helps Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA with pet care costs.
Hello there folks, I'm Sebastian! I am a stunning 3-year-old, large sized, neutered male, domestic shorthaired kitty! While I may be large, I am in need of someone else to be in charge, as right now I'm a bit timid. I enjoy chin and cheek scratches, and I have the softest fur you will ever pet. I am FIV+, which means I need to be an indoor only kitty, and either have FIV+ buddies, or live as an only kitty in the home, with no children, please! I enjoy playing with pipe cleaners, ping pong balls, and the occasional catnip mouse- boy can I pounce! Another thing I love to do is to sit by windows and watch the world go by! If you are looking for a sweet dude who will give you lots of love, come on down and find out more about me! Sebastian ID#A974574.
This cat tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). He/she otherwise appears to be in excellent health. Cats with FIV can usually live for many years with no medical problems. Usually at some point however the virus will start to affect them. The most common thing that happens is that they get sicker than a normal cat would when they get a cold or other condition. FIV is transmitted almost exclusively via bite wounds. For this reason we recommend that this cat should be an only cat and not be allowed outdoors. New owner should be prepared to have expenses relating to veterinary care in the future. Please ask to speak with a PHS Veterinarian to learn more about this cat and FIV.
Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays).
We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
