This big lovable Aussie is looking for his forever family. I would love to keep him if I could because he is so sweet and smart but my husband has some health issues that won’t allow me to. Chester is happy to play fetch/catch with you all day long. He needs to go to a home with a yard because he loves to be outside during the day. He is crate trained and you can expect that he will pick his favorite toy to take to bed in the evening. Chester is a very friendly guy and does very well with other dogs, cats, children and strangers. He loves everyone. I have a small dog and two cats and he is really awesome around them. My dog pesters him a lot, but he’s always gentle around her. He loves my grandchildren and is around them 5 days a week. He does not chew up or destroy things but he can be a little sneaky and steal things out of drawers if he finds them open.
I would prefer someone that is familiar with the Australian Shepherd breed to adopt him and love him forever.
