My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. I’m Dorothy — but you can call me Queen D. Let’s get one thing straight: I am not a sweet little cuddle muffin. If that’s what you’re after, keep scrolling. I’m not here to be your lap bunny — I’m here to rule my kingdom.

I’m a fabulous adult Lionhead with just the right amount of fluff (low-maintenance, obviously), and I’ve got the attitude to match. I don’t walk — I zoom. I don’t ask — I demand. Tunnels, ramps, cardboard boxes, and toys? I treat them all like my personal playground, and I’ve been known to rearrange my entire pen just because I felt like it. Interior design is my passion — especially when it involves tossing furniture with my teeth.

I'm fluent in grunts and side-eyes, and I’ll make my feelings very clear if I’m not pleased. I like my space the way I like my life: under my control. But if you show me patience and respect, and you happen to have bananas or craisins in your hand, we might just become friends. I’ll even take treats from you — delicately, of course — once I decide you’re worthy.

I need a home with someone who gets bunnies like me — confident, independent, and not here for nonsense. Little kids aren’t really my vibe, and I have no interest in living with other sassy girl buns (one diva per household, please). That said, I was warming up to a very cute boy bunny before he got adopted — typical — so I might be open to the right male companion. I currently live with cats; sometimes we coexist peacefully, other times I chase them away. Honestly, it depends on my mood.

My litter habits are a work in progress, but I keep things pretty tidy. And now that I’ve been spayed, my caretakers say I might calm down a bit. We’ll see. I’m kind of like Minnesota weather — you never really know what you’re going to get.

So if you’re looking for a bunny who’s bold, hilarious, and full of flair — a bun who will keep you entertained, keep you on your toes, and definitely keep you in line — then congratulations. You’ve found me. I’m Dorothy, and I don’t do boring.
