Meet Mo! If you are looking for a new man in your life that is confident, loves to snuggle, won’t hog to many of the sheets in bed, and has a killer tan, then look no further than Mo!
Mo is a 2.5-year-old, 13 lb., (mostly) sweet Chihuahua …if you know the breed, you know what I mean. Whereas he is cute and snuggly, he will sometimes give a warning grumble if he feels smothered…he has never followed through on his grumbles, however. Mo gets along well with other small dogs and seems indifferent to confident cats but was always on leash around them. He does well in a crate but is also ok in house for the most part – as long as there is nothing of value on low-access tables. He does enjoy sitting on chairs…any and all chairs, lol. He walks ok on a leash, but will pull a little, so a harness is preferred. He is housetrained but has had the occasional marking accident.
Mo came into rescue as a part of a home seizure, with no more information. He was heartworm positive on intake, so Mo has spent 6 months with his foster family while undergoing treatment. Luckily, he is now negative!! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and currently on heartworm prevention.

More about this rescue
Renee's Rescues is an all-volunteer rescue organization based in Delaware. Our focus is to rescue misplaced, abandoned, mistreated, abused and/or ill canines and place them into loving homes.
We do a significant amount of rescue work with dogs acquired from large-scale breeding operations. Most, if not all, spent life in cages or outdoor hutches prior to rescue. Our dedicated foster families assist with house-training and crate-training before they are adopted. Additionally, our fosters provide extra TLC and socialization. This enables them to flourish as they start their new chapter of life.
On the fence about adopting? That's okay! We are always looking for new foster families. We provide all veterinary care and supplies. You provide the love. To learn more, please visit www.reneesrescues.org, and fill out a foster application under the Forms tab. You can email your application to applications@reneesrescues.org.
