Chaz's Story...
The pictures say it all! This boy is so unbelievably handsome. He looks like he is a Labrador retriever with a little golden retriever mixed in there! He is a great boy who loves playtime. He adores toys of all kinds, tennis balls, kongs, stuffed animals (although he will remove all the fluff in record time) and is great at games of tug and chase.

Chaz is about 2 years old and weighs about 70 lbs. He is happy to be with us at AdoptALab.org and loves his new dog bed and chew bone. Whew! lots better than the shelter!

Chaz is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is heartworm negative and will be ready for adoption soon. Please apply today! Chaz is ready for his new family.

"Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring -- it was peace. "

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chaz, a Boston Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Boston, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
