My name is Mavis!

This is Mavis, a 3-year-old herding breed with brains, sass, and a heart of gold. She came to me as a foster two years ago and never left. Due to past trauma, she’s afraid of men but can warm up with patience. She’s reactive to people and dogs; but only when I hold her. With others, she’s calm. Fiercely protective, incredibly smart, and fast-learning. Mavis needs a job and space to thrive, no apartments or tiny yards. She loves deeply, gives the best hugs, and adores games like “find the treat.” Sweet, sassy, and loyal, she’s looking for someone who understands herding breeds and is ready for a devoted companion.
